THE CHOIR The Parish of Ss Peter & Paul is rich in musical heritage and practice. The parish choir consists of volunteers from the parish. The choir of men and women lead the congregation in worship through the beauty of song, as well as in offering special praise with anthems. The choir rehearses each Sunday at 9:00 a.m. before the 9:30 a.m. Mass, and after the service until noon. We welcome all who possess a love of singing, and who possess basic music skills, to be part of this ministry.
The organ, by Wicks Organ Builders, was installed in 1959 at the time of the addition of the new worship space. The organ was designed and voiced in the English cathedral tradition. Originally of nine ranks, the organ underwent restoration and additions in 2001, and currently consists of twelve ranks. Plans are to expand the instrument to fourteen ranks.
